Columbus Chamber of Commerce
http://www.columbus.org/ 150 South Front Street, Suite 200, Columbus, OH 43215. Phone: 614-221-1321; Fax: 614-221-1408. The Chamber's web-site testimony about economic development says little about small business. Nevertheless, the Chamber offers lots of demographic information and economic development experience that could be valuable to a micro-enterprise if that experience can be marshaled. The Chamber does operate the "Diversity Bridge" (http://www.diversitybridge.com/), which is a "one-stop" connector to minority-owned businesses in the Columbus area. Partly funded by Honda of America, Diversity Bridge leverages resources, minimizes duplication of effort, and connects minority businesses with opportunities, resources, and peers.
