SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide.   For the 12 months ending in September of 2009, NW Ohio SCORE provided more than 1300 free, confidential counseling services to clients, either face-to-face or online.  NW Ohio SCORE also helped to sponsor 14 free workshops, which were attended by more than 330 individuals.  60% of clients asked for assistance with starting up a new small business.  40% of clients were existing business owners requesting advice on topics ranging from cash flow management to obtaining financing, business planning, marketing, and more.
