Columbus Metropolitan Library

Phone:  614-645-2ASK (2275).  There are twenty-two (22) other locations across Franklin County; those can be found at :  http://ebranch-prod.columbuslibrary.org/ebranch/index.cfm?pageid=29.    Computers at each of the locations are equipped with word processing software, Microsoft Word 2002, as well as Microsoft Excel 2002 spreadsheet software and PowerPoint 2002 presentation software. Internet Access is provided via Internet Explorer 6.0. Library computers run the Microsoft Windows XP operating system. Computers are also equipped with WinWay Resume software for creating basic resumes and Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing tutorial program. All library computers come equipped with 3½" floppy drives, CD-Rom drives, and Universal Serial Bus (USB) capability.

Meeting rooms are available and may be reserved at most (not all) library locations.  Additionally, Job Help Centers are designated spaces in all locations of the Columbus Metropolitan Library that are dedicated to helping the people of central Ohio find jobs. Customers can use the computers, Internet access and other online resources in their job search. Library staff and volunteers are prepared to assist customers one-on-one with application processes or customers can attend classes to learn basic e-mail training, online job applications and job searching, resume help, basic computer training, and Internet searching. The service is completely free!
